Why Choose TruthQuest History?

Sure, TruthQuest History (TQH) is deep literature-based study, but with a huge difference...

TQH is NOT the “story of mankind.”  Because mankind is NOT prime force of the universe. God is. He initiates; then we respond. History is thus first what God does and says, and only secondly what people believe/do in response.

TQH is NOT a quick snapshot of civilizations, nor a mere chronicle of their undulating rise and fall.  Instead, TQH unveils the arrow-straight line of God's unchanging existence, power, love, truth, liberty, and plan for humankind.

TQH revels in God and His truths for nations, more than glorifying kings, artists, philosophers, writers, and scientists…who are best understood after seen as people motivated by basic beliefs about God…true or untrue. Consequences of their Big 2 Beliefs (Who is God? Who, then, is mankind?) are displayed in history.

How?

 1. TruthQuest History’s lively commentaries introduce each topic chronologically - providing colorful, connected, and convincing proof of God (and His superior truths) in history.

2. Thus primed, students dig into our vast “living books” recommendations.

3. Strategically-placed ThinkWrite™ exercises help your students internalize and express the deepest lessons of history.  Dig in!

Question:   What, in a nutshell, is the purpose of TruthQuest History?

Answer:    To help students know God more personally by seeing throughout history that His ways are best and produce the highest level of freedom, human worth, and blessing in any nation....and for the students to impact our societies with their grasp of these profound truths as they apply to government, economics, justice, the arts, the church, etc. Gaining knowledge about history (which alone 'puffs up') is not the goal; rather we seek the spiritual cause-and-effect lessons of history which teach godly wisdom.
